UNIVERSITIES AND COMMUNITIES ON THE ROAD OF THE MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL DEVELOPMENT

On April 23, 2025, the Department of Information Technology at the North Campus of the Lviv S.Z. Gzhytsky National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology hosted a scientific seminar titled “Promoting cooperation between universities and communities through the dissemination of best practices”. This event was held with the participation of scientists from the faculties' departments who have some experience in implementing practical and scientific activities and researching the issues of synergy between higher education institutions and territorial communities.

The keynote speakers at the seminar were PhD in Political Sciences, Associate Professor Marianna Hladysh (Ivan Franko National University of Lviv) and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Alla Zhelezniak (LNUHMB). Marianna Hladysh presented the UNICOM project and shared the experience of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in developing and implementing the Strategy for the Implementation of the “Third Mission” of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, which was approved by the Academic Council of the University in December 2024.
