UNICOM Study Visit to the University of Genoa

Third mission of universities in the multicultural environment has been in particular focus during the study visit of the IFNUL UNICOM team to the University of Genoa, which took place in the period of July 24-28, 2023. The IFNUL UNICOM team was represented by Svitlana Sas, Head of the Plannuing and Finance Department and Marianna Gladysh, Associate Professor of the Department of International Security and Strategic Studies of the Faculty of International Relations. During the study visit the main attention was paid to the Italian practice of the realization of the third mission of universities based upon experiences of the University of Genoa and performance of the HEI's third mission in the multicultural environment. The IFNUL UNICOM team also participated at the Summer School "School "Cultural Studies and Cultural Dialog in the Intercultural Environment Focused on Community Engagement" as part of the study visit program. The Summer School was organized by the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence of the National Dragomanov University "European Studies of Social Innovation in Education" in the cooperation with the Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione of the University of Genoа (Italy) and the Bodgan Khmelnytskyy Melitopol State Pedagogical University (Ukraine).
