Migration and security within the European Union are complex and multifaceted issues. While migration offers potential benefits like economic growth and cultural enrichment, it also presents significant challenges to the EU's internal security. A key challenge for the EU is to balance the need to ensure security with its obligations to uphold human rights and international law. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive and nuanced approach that balances security concerns with humanitarian obligations and promotes sustainable solutions for migration. The main goal of this project is to elaborate courses for MA program “International Security and Human Rights” with special focus on migration and security. The tasks are as follows: to develop 5 courses on migration and security; to digitalize the educational process taking into consideration the recent development in HEI sector; to pilot 5 courses of MA program on migration and security involving European experts; to conduct 1 summer bootcamp and 1 winter school for the students interested in migration and security; to organize 2 scientific seminars on the issues of migration, refugees and security.
