Learning Best Practices on Third Mission with the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague

Within the framework of the realization of the Erasmus+ CBHE Project "Universities-Communities: Strengthening Cooperation (UNICOM)" Marianna Gladysh, the associate professor of the International Security and Strategic Studies Department of the Faculty of International Relations participated at the study visit to the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague in the period of October 2-6, 2023. During the study visit Mrs. Gladysh together with the representatives of Ukrainian higher education institutions and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine had an opportunity to become insights into the peculiaritites of the realization of the third mission of HEIs in the Czech Republic, and especially with the relevant practices of Czech University of Life Sciences. Moreover, the national regulatory framework on HEIs third mission in the Czech Republic, as well as the communication strategies as the main tool of the enhancement of the university-community cooperation were discussed during the meetings and study visit activities. The participants of the study visit had also the opportunity to join to the international interdisciplinary conference for young scholars and researchers, which was organized by the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences.
