III Online Certificate Program "EU Common Policies: Experiences for Ukraine"

From November 25 till November 29, 2024 the JMCE WURCES in the cooperation with the Faculty of International Relations held the III online certificate program "EU Common Policies: Experiences for Ukraine". The event hosted more then 20 attendees and focused on presenting to the audience the EU practices of formation and fulfilment of the EU Common Policies. The particular attention was paid to the impact of Ukraine's commtiments in selected areas of the cooperation with the EU, which shape the Ukraine's accession pathway to the EU. On December 2, 2024 the certificates were awarded to the participants. The event was co-organized by the EU Information Center at Lviv University.

EUCPASU WORKSHOP "EU Social Policy as a Key Factor of Forming the Socially Oriented Economic Model for Rebuilding Ukraine"

On October 17, 2024, the JMCE WURCES organized a workshop, "EU Social Policy as a Key Factor of Forming the Socially Oriented Economic Model for Rebuilding Ukraine". The event was conducted within the UESA Annual Congress 2024, which addressed the issues of the EU Accession and rebuilding of Ukraine. The UESA Congress was conducted in a hybrid format at Uzhhorod National University in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office and the NGO "Innovative University". The workshop had more than 20 attendees online and offline partcipants.

EUCPASU POSTER COMPETITION

In April-May 2024, the JMCE WURCES conducted a poster competition, which addressed the social cohesion in the EU. The competition committee received 16 works from students of different faculties of Lviv University. The winners of the 2024 EUCPASU poster competition are:

EUCPASU SIMULATION GAME 2024: COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE EU

On April 9, 2024 and April 17, 2024 the simulation game regarding the work of the Council of the EU gathered more than 50 participants from the Faculty of International Relations and Faculty of Financial Management and Business. On April 9, 2024 students were offered a presentation about the work of the Council of the EU, which was counducted by the students of the Faculty of International Relations. On April 17, 2024 the simulation of the work of the Council of the EU was conducted by the students of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business. The topic, discussed by students in the Council meeting simulation, addressed the membership issues of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

CONFERENCE "IMPLEMEN-TATION OF THE EU-UKRAINE ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT: SELECTED POLICIES"

On March 6, 2024 the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted the conference, devoted to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in different sectors. The event was conducted in the hybrid format and gathered more than 150 participants. The participants discussed challenges for Ukraine on its road to the EU membership, EU Climate and Water Policies, EC Cultural Policy, EU Edcuational Policy, EU Social Policy, EU cooperation in the area of statistics and on religious matters.
